There is / there are

Indicano l’esistenza o la presenza di qualcosa in un luogo: There’s (there is) a park near my house, There are many shops in my town.
There isn’t a…, There aren’t any…. ❓ Is there a…? / Are there any…? – Yes, there is / No, there aren’t. Con quantità: How many students are there in your class?
Non confondere con It is: There’s a dog. It’s brown.
